Glowrider arrived!

My MotoLoot Glowrider backpack finally showed up. This big bag is ready for this big back. 😂 There's a ton of space inside, but not as many compartments as I was hoping for. Oh well. I'll figure out a way to organize everything and make it hold all my riding gear. Photochromatic Shield

Photochromatic Shield

Finally picked up a photochromic shield. I know they're not cheap, but I'm all about convenience. I don't want to carry around multiple shields or have to stop mid ride to swap them as the lighting changes. My backpack is already packed enough. Plus, the less I have to take the visor on and off, the better. That's less wear on the helmet's mechanism. Hoping this ends up being one of those upgrades you don't realize you needed until you have it. After about 6 years of riding with the backpack on the right, it was finally time to retire it. That pack has been with me through thousands of miles, countless group rides, bike nights, weekend trips, and everyday commutes. It's been thrown on the bike, stuffed full more times than I can count, and never let me down. But after years of use, a few buckles finally gave up, and the straps are starting to fray. So it's time for an upgrade. Knocked out some solid upgrades today. Finally got the X5 dialed in with some proper K&F Concept armor to handle the elements, and picked up the Insta360 ND64 filters to keep the glare down and the footage clean. Ready for the next ride. #Insta360 #kfconcept #motovlog #kawasaki

K&F Concept Windscreen Mount

My windscreen has zero flat real estate for a sticky mount. I wasn't about to drill into the damn plastic or watch a grand worth of camera gear bounce down the blacktop, so I grabbed a K&F Concept clamp instead. It bites right onto the edge, locks down in seconds without scratching anything, and doesn't budge against the wind blast or engine vibes when I'm ripping down the road. #district76riders #kawasaki #kfconcept

Mounting Begins!!!

Mounting Begins!!!

I started working on mounting some of the Insta360 gear. Started off by replacing the legacy invisible selfie stick with the new carbon fiber action selfie stick. I also got the motorcycle mount clamp and slapped that bad boy onto my crash cage. Lastly tomorrow, I should be getting a windshield mount to wrap a few key mounting points!! Super excited to get back to filming again.

I spoke too soon, because the batteries showed up right after I made that last post!! I threw them in the FDR-X3000 to confirm they work perfectly, so now we just wait on tomorrow's mail.

One Step Closer

One Step Closer

One step closer to the new recording setup. Loctite and M5x20 bolts arrived today to lock down the mounts, Sony FDR-X3000 batteries show up this afternoon, and the Insta360 X5 lands tomorrow.
