District 76 is a local motorcycle community founded in Clarksville, Tennessee and built for all riders — every brand, every style, every experience level. The site is where we organize rides, share routes and roads, keep a garage of our bikes, and look out for each other on and off the road.

How do I find rides and events?

The Events page lists upcoming rides and meetups. Each event has its own page with the meet location, start time, distance, difficulty, and directions. You can also see a trending event picked for your area.

Can I import a GPX file?

Yes. When you create a route you can import a GPX file and it loads as the route path — including on mobile and when the site is installed as an app. It works with tracks exported from most GPS units and route-planning apps.

What are crews?

Crews are smaller groups within District 76 with their own space: a wall for posts, polls, member roles, a ride board, and standings. They're a way for a riding group to organize itself inside the larger community.

How do I add my bike?

Open your Garage and add a machine — make, model, year, type, and engine details. Your bikes appear on your public profile so other riders can see what you ride.

What is the Emergency Card?

The Emergency Card stores medical info first responders can reach by scanning an NFC tag or QR code on your bike or helmet — blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, and emergency contacts. It's a District 76 program in partnership with RADD (Riders Against Dangerous Driving). Your details are encrypted at rest, and you choose which fields are visible. Set one up under Settings → Emergency .

What are Featured Roads?

Featured Roads are curated great rides — real, named routes with distance, difficulty, and a rider photo gallery. Some are curated by District 76; ratings only appear once real riders leave them.

The Magazine is our community publication — features, guides, and rider stories. You can read and comment on articles, and members can submit their own for review.

What happens to the waypoints in my GPX?

Named waypoints (GPX <wpt> points) are kept as labeled stops along the route, alongside the track itself — so your fuel stops, viewpoints, and meet spots come through, not just the line on the map.

Can I add photos to a road?

Yes — signed-in riders can add photos to a road's gallery. You can delete photos you uploaded, and admins and moderators can remove any photo that doesn't belong.

How does the crew ride board work?

The ride board is where a crew floats and plans rides together. It's asynchronous by design — members propose and sign on to rides on their own time, rather than needing everyone online at once.

How do I set my profile and handle?

Your profile is where you edit your identity — name, handle, location, bio, and photo. Your public page lives at /r/your-handle , and your garage, media, and activity show there.

How does the NFC tag work?

You write two records to one NFC tag: a URL record that opens your always-current online card, and a Text record with the life-critical basics. Tapping the tag opens the URL card. The settings page has a step-by-step guide and copy buttons for programming a tag with the free NFC Tools app.

Does it cost anything to join?

No. Creating an account and using the community features is free. District 76 is a community project, not a paid service.

How do I RSVP to a ride?

Open the event and tap RSVP. Your spot is recorded so the organizer knows who's coming, and the ride shows up in your account. You can change your RSVP any time before the ride.

You can manage your account and delete your data from your account settings . If you need help, email us and we'll take care of it.

How do I join?

Head to the Join page and create an account with your email, or sign in with Google. You'll set up a public rider profile and handle, and from there you can RSVP to rides, add your bikes, and take part in the community.

Can I add stops with directions?

Yes. Route stops can carry directions and coordinates, so a route can read like a turn-by-turn plan with real places along the way, independent of the underlying trace.

Can I host my own ride?

Yes. Signed-in members can create an event from the Events page — set the route, meet spot, time, distance, and difficulty, add tags, and it's live for others to RSVP. You can edit or cancel it later from the event page.

Does the tag work with no signal?

Accepted Answer

Partly — and it's worth understanding why. A phone tap opens the URL and hands it to the browser; it has no way to know there's no signal, so it won't automatically fall back to the offline text. The Text record is a manual backup a responder reads by scanning the tag in an NFC app. For a true dead-zone crash, use Print card on the emergency settings page to make a visible label for your helmet or tank bag — that's the most reliable no-signal, no-battery fallback.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Choose "Continue with Google" on the sign-in page. The first time you use it, we'll walk you through setting up your rider profile. If you originally signed up with an email and password, keep using that method to sign in.

What is ride check-in?

On ride day, organizers can track who's actually on the ride with a check-in at the start and a check-out at the end. If someone doesn't check out, the group knows right away — it's part of how we look out for each other. See Emergency Response for the full picture.

Who can see my medical information?

Accepted Answer

Only the fields you mark "show on card" appear to someone who scans your code, and every time your card is opened it's logged with time and location so you can see who accessed it. You can deactivate the card or rotate its link at any time.
