District 76 Riders exists to bring riders together.
All bikes. All riders. One community.
Participation requires treating other people with respect, exercising good judgment, and accepting responsibility for your own actions.
These Guidelines apply to activity on District 76 and conduct arising from D76 rides, events, meetups, Rider Assist interactions, marketplace transactions, messages, Crews, and other community interactions.
Ride Your Own Ride
Never ride beyond your ability to keep up with another person.
Respect pace groups and other riders.
Every rider remains responsible for their motorcycle and decisions.
No ride lead or other participant requires you to exceed your abilities or violate traffic laws.
Follow the Law
Members are expected to comply with applicable traffic, criminal, property, and other laws.
D76 does not authorize unlawful behavior.
No Dangerous Pressure
Do not pressure another rider to:
- exceed their riding ability;
- violate traffic laws;
- perform stunts;
- race;
- ride impaired;
- operate unsafe equipment; or
- participate in something they believe is unsafe.
Respect Other Members
Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.
Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, bullying, targeted humiliation, unwanted sexual conduct, or repeated unwanted contact may result in removal.
No Violence or Credible Threats
Threatening or encouraging violence toward another member or person is prohibited.
Credible threats may be reported to appropriate authorities.
No Hate or Targeted Harassment
Do not attack or dehumanize people based upon protected characteristics.
Respect Boundaries
A person's participation in D76 does not grant permission to contact, follow, photograph, visit, or otherwise interact with them outside the boundaries they establish.
If someone tells you to stop contacting them, stop.
Protect Personal Information
Do not publish another person's private information without authorization.
Information obtained through Rider Assist, Emergency Rider Card, messages, marketplace transactions, rides, or other D76 features must not be used to stalk, harass, exploit, embarrass, solicit, or harm another person.
Rider Assist Conduct
Rider Assist exists for riders voluntarily helping riders with non-emergency roadside situations.
Helpers and requesters must comply with the applicable Rider Assist agreements.
Misusing Rider Assist to lure, harass, solicit, threaten, track, or target another person will result in enforcement and may be reported to authorities.
No Fraud or Deception
Do not impersonate others, intentionally misrepresent your identity, create fraudulent listings, solicit money under false pretenses, manipulate D76 systems, or intentionally deceive other members for personal gain.
Marketplace Responsibility
Marketplace users are responsible for their own transactions.
Do not knowingly sell stolen, fraudulent, counterfeit, unlawful, or materially misrepresented property.
Community Content
You are responsible for what you publish.
Do not post content that unlawfully infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Spam and Commercial Solicitation
Do not repeatedly spam, advertise, solicit, scrape member information, or use D76 primarily to commercially target members without authorization.
Legitimate community businesses and sponsors may participate within applicable D76 rules.
Ride Leads and Volunteers
Ride leads, sweeps, moderators, administrators, and other volunteers deserve the same respect as every other member.
Their volunteer role does not make them personally responsible for your riding decisions or safety.
Events and Businesses
Respect businesses, property owners, event venues, communities, and roads visited through D76 activities.
Do not litter, damage property, intentionally create unnecessary disturbances, or behave in ways reasonably likely to harm the community or D76's relationship with others.
Reporting
Members may report conduct through available D76 reporting tools or published contact methods.
For emergencies, crimes in progress, or immediate threats, contact appropriate emergency services instead of relying upon D76.
Investigations
D76 may review reports and available information when investigating potential violations.
D76 is not a court or law-enforcement agency and does not guarantee that every dispute can be independently verified or resolved.
Enforcement
Depending upon the circumstances, D76 may:
- remove content;
- issue warnings;
- restrict features;
- remove event or ride privileges;
- disable Rider Assist;
- suspend accounts;
- permanently remove accounts; or
- take other reasonable measures necessary to protect the community.
D76 may consider severity, context, prior conduct, safety concerns, and available evidence.
D76 reserves discretion concerning community moderation and enforcement to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
No Guarantee of Member Conduct
Acceptance of these Guidelines does not guarantee that another member will follow them.
D76 cannot guarantee the identity, conduct, intentions, reliability, or safety of another person.
Exercise appropriate judgment whenever interacting with people online or in person.
Acceptance
By participating in District 76, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines and understand that violations may result in restrictions or removal.
